Hi I am Caroline Gephart, 

I am a co-candidate for Team Blood Busters. I'm super excited for this upcoming year and can not wait for kick-off. This year I am a candidate because last year when I was a team member I had tons of fun and got super inspired to run a team. 
​​​​​​​My family has a history of blood disorders and when I was in 7th grade my dad got stuck in the hospital for over a week and had no answers. He went to hospital due to extreme abdomen pain, which was when he learned his abdomen was full of blood clots. He was there for what felt like an eternity. At one point he had a blood test come back as possible leukemia, but thankfully it was not, but the test had a result that mimicked that he had leukemia.  He still has no diagnosis for his blood clots, but Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) provides lots of research on blood disorders which brings him one step closer to a cure. My campaign will provide support to the critical work of LLS in hopes that one day no one will have to grow up without the ones they love. I know that with your help, I can reach my goal and make a direct impact in the fight against blood cancers.
